Significance of National Production from Viewpoint of Holy Quran

By the victory of the Islamic Revolution on Bahman, 1357 that kept the hands of arrogant powers like the U.S.A off the rich resources of Iran and lead to the overthrow of the imperial regime in this country, a new season began in the history of the great Iranian nation and also a new period of enmities against the Islamic Iran commenced and made us witness various types of enmities during almost 30-decade life of the Islamic Iran that was full of ups and downs.

Once they notified their allies in the international community that the goal is merely to overthrow this Revolution and in order to accomplish this goal, we have to join hands together and the Pharaohs of that time once again announced the pharaoh’s shout that:

“Therefore settle your plan, then come standing in ranks and he will prosper indeed this day who overcomes.” (Taha-64)

The other day, they allocated a huge amount of budgets and costs to overthrow the Islamic Revolution and do not let the Islamic Revolution go somewhere near the development and victory for a second:

“Surely those who disbelieve spend their wealth to hinder (people) from the way of Allah. “(Al-Anfal, 36)

One day they chose craft, cunning and deception as tools to reach their ominous plans, However God stated to all people who take step for Him and in His way that:

“And be patient and your patience is not but by (the assistance of) Allah, and grieve not for them, and do not distress yourself at what they plan.” (An-Nahl, 127)

Certainly and emphatically one of the causes of the foreigners’ failure against the Islamic Revolution is the penetrating look and top insight of leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran in identifying enemies and their enmity methods against the Islamic Revolution.

In this regard, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution has taken three important steps in thwarting ominous goals and plans of enemies that each of them are explained here:

1- Knowing the enemy

He has pointed out the importance of knowing enemy in his various speeches and has explained the goals and plans of dominant system to all people in different situations and conditions and has expressly stated that: (A nation has to know the enemy, its plan, and equip itself against that.) (Keyhan Newspaper, 7^th of Farvardin 1386).

One of the verses that can be used regarding the importance of National Production is this noble verse that expressly says: the Islamic society must try not to be under the domination of foreigners and enemies, and it is clear that as Imam Khomeini (RA) stated, economic dependency is the origin of all dependencies and thereupon being under the dominancy of foreigners.

2- Breaking with the enemies

Considering having relationship with the sworn enemies of the Islamic Revolution, he repeatedly stated in numerous speeches that: (the divine law is that you stay, become strong, win; Inshallah you win and we do not need to have relationship with the Americans; we have no need to negotiate and have relationship with them and despite the desire of Iran’s enemies, Inshallah our nation will increasingly trace progressive and developmental degrees day by day.) (Speeches of Friday prayer of Tehran: 1376/10/26)

3- Acquiring authority and full readiness against enemy

By naming the years in recent years, the Supreme Leader of the Revolution has taken another big step in disappointing enemies of the Islamic Revolution and has mobilized the strong Iranian nation in confronting any sanction and threat.

Now, with the start of the New Year and waves of sanctions and threats of enemies, his holiness by naming this year as national production and supporting Iranian capital and labour once again proved that the Islamic Iran does not lose any steps in achieving the modern technologies of the world and attempts to reach the most complete and the best modern technologies of the world with all its power.

It is clear that one of the biggest weapons of the enemies against enormous wave of Iranian nation is sanction and in order to confront these sanctions, national production is one of the best existing ways which can change hopes of the enemies to discourage and despair.

Importance of national production from the viewpoint of Quran

Importance of national production can be known from various verses of Quran that we study some of those verses in this short chance:

1- The Islamic society not to be under the foreigners’ domination

“And Allah will not give the disbelievers any way (of success) against the believers.” (Al-Nisa, 141)

One of the verses that can be used in order to know the importance of national production is this noble verse that explicitly states: the Islamic society should try not to be under the domination of foreigners and enemies, and it is clear that as Imam Khomeini (RA) said the economic dependency is the origin of all dependencies and in conclusion, it will be the cause for being under the domination of foreigners:

(If we be economically dependent, this causes political and military dependency for us as well. Our country will return to its previous situation.) (His remarks made at the Islamic Association of Ministry of Industries and Mines: year 1358)

So, for the foreigners do not have domination over the Islamic society, we have to reach a stage in production in which all the needed commodities of the country are produced in the country and we should not be dependent on the foreigners in order to import goods for us.

2- Mobilization of all powers against the enemies

Logic of the holy Quran is that: never give up before the oppression and injustice and mobilizes your power in order to confront them: “and prepare against them what force you can” (Al-Anfal, 60)

The Supreme Leader named this year as the National Production in line with the implementation of mobilization of powers against the enemies and clearly stated: (America may create risks for other countries; it may do crazy things. Of course, here I should mention that we do not have nuclear weapon, we will not have nuclear weapon either, but against invading of enemies –either America or the Zionist regime - we will attack the enemy in such a level he attacks us in order to defence ourselves.) (Statement made at Imam Reza Holy Shrine at the beginning of the year 91).

The Almighty God advises the Prophet Mohammad (S) in divine verses not to have an eye on the facilities of others, and certainly one of the biggest factors of confronting threats of enemies is to reach a level that needs of the Islamic society be met inside the country and there be no need to other countries.

3- Have a look to others’ facilities is one of the causes of decline

The Almighty God points out to this fact that having a look to others’ facilities is one of the most important causes of decline of the society. A society that has a look to others’ facilities despite having numerous facilities and talents cannot have enough respect and it has to always bow down before others in order to use their facilities.

The Almighty God advised the Prophet Mohammad (s) not to have a look to others’ facilities:

“and do not stretch your eyes after that with which we have provided different classes of them, (of) the splendor of this world's life, that we may thereby try them; and the sustenance (given) by your lord is better and more abiding.” (Taha, 131)

He also says that you have to rely on your capabilities and facilities against the facilities We have granted upon others rather than comparing yourself with different countries and characters and becoming upset, because this way of thinking is a sign of insufficient growth and internal feeling of inferiority and lack of ambition.

The nation that wants to stand against the arrogant of the world with honour and dignity uses its thinking and physical power for the development and promotion rather than constantly compare itself with the capital and achievements of the arrogant powers, and this nation says we do not have anything less than the others and there is no reason that I cannot make more progress than them. Why do I have a look to their facilities and developments which are merely materialistic and are in spiritual crisis? I, myself, produce more and better (from Tafsir-e-Nemooneh).
