In an interview done on the occasion of Imam Reza (AS)'s birth anniversary, Hojat-al-Islam Nematollah Sarlakian added: the Shiite Imamate has been an evolutionary process for Shiites since the time of the great prophet (S) and Amir-al-Momenin (commander of the faithful) (AS) and naturally, we can see the communication chains among the Infallible Imams (AS), according to the reports of public relations of Marakazi Islamic development department.
The situation of Amir-al-Momenin (AS) had particular features as same as the situation of Imam Hassan (AS) and Imam Hossein (AS); three of them were involved in the political legitimacy project and they made efforts to oppose enemies in order to put the religious and social aims desired by the prophet (S) into action in the society, he added.
In the next phase, we witness the project of knowledge and spirituality which started from the time of Imam Sajad (AS) and continued until the time of Imam Mohammad Baqer (AS) and Imam Sadeq (AS) and it was a kind of creating the religious culture, he noted.
The third phase started from the time of Imam Kazem (AS) and focused on arranging the Shiite organizations, Hojat-al-Islam Sarlakian specified.
The cultural, research and educational assistant of Markazi Islamic development department continued: but in the time of Imam Reza (AS), the special period started to pave the way for the absence time.
At the beginning of Imamate, Imam Reza (AS) had conflicts with many sects of Emamieh especially Vaqefieh who were against the Imam Reza (AS)'s Imamate basically, he said.
Considering his position as the Vilayat (guardianship), Imam Reza (AS) never made use of this religious sovereignty and the manner of Imam Reza (AS) was enlightenment and paying attention to realities, and he opposed enemies by scientific challenges and debates, because Imam Reza (AS) is the symbol of divine satisfaction, he added.
