Commemoration Meeting of Martyr Motahari Held in Qazvin IDD

 

In order to commemorate professor Motahari, a meeting was held in Qazvin province's Islamic development department on last Monday, May 3, 2010.

According to the reports of public relations of Qazvin province's Islamic development department, the head of the commander in chief political-ideological office of the armed forces said: teachers should consider the martyr Motahari as their role model in order to oppose the cyber war.

A teacher whose role model is martyr Motahari should always promote his/her own scientific level, added Hojat-al-Islam Gholamreza Safaee.

He counted opposition to the current deviations of the society as one of the considerable features of professor Motahari and mentioned Martyr Motahari as a perfect example of the teacher dignity.

Martyr Motahari with his fluent writing always considered the necessities of time and when he felt that he should write stories, he wrote the story book of " Dastan-e-Rastan" for the young and youths generation, Hojat-al-Islam Safaee specified.

Martyr Motahari was a pious and open-minded man, an honorable scholar and an example of a real teacher; all teachers should set professor Motahari as their role model regarding the teaching methods and behaving towards students, he reminded.  

Hojat-al-Islam Safaee pointed out that martyr Motahari succeeded to resist deviations very well, specifying when he felt that Islam had being oppressed, he wrote the book of "mutual services of Iran and Islam”.

The head of the commander in chief political-ideological office of the armed forces went on to say: professor Motahari was a punctilious man and knew from where enemies came, accordingly, he resisted against them with a powerful weapon.

Stating the thoughts of Martyr Motahari were full of insight, Hojat-al-Islam safaee reminded: teachers in this period of time have the duty to restate the character and morality of martyr Motahari to youths and to teach them how much a person can be effective.

He pointed out that martyr Motahari was admired by the late Imam Khomeini (RA), adding the late Imam Khomeini (RA) was the teacher of that martyr and when Morteza Motahari was martyred, Imam said: "Motahari is a part of my being".

Touching on the significant insight of martyr Motahari, the head of the commander in chief political-ideological office of the armed forces reiterated: that scholar enjoyed the great wisdom, deep thought, good tact, excellent morality, smiling face and perfect insight and all of us should imitate these virtues.

Stating that one of the clear features of martyr Motahari was having respect for his teachers, Hojat-al-Islam Safaee reminded: it is the duty of every scholar to put his knowledge into action; the beauty of knowledge lies in its distribution, and martyr Motahari was successful in this domain too.

Serious and logical opposition to critical schools and warning the dangers were the clear features of martyr Motahari; today, we witness that enemies have put aside the physical war and have put forwards the soft threats, Hojat-al-Islam Safaee reminded.
