IDO Supports Dissemination of Shia-Based Islamic Teachings

 

In the ceremony to unveil the “Shialogy” book prepared under the supervision of Aliakbar Velayati, the head of Islamic Development Organization put emphasis on the necessity of supporting the dissemination of the Shia-based Islamic teachings by this organization.

The ceremony to unveil the “Shialogy” book prepared under the supervision of Aliakbar Velayati and published by Amir Kabir publishing institute was held at “Ahle-Qalam” pavilion in the 25th edition of Tehran International Book Fair on last Tuesday; Hojatoleslam Seyyed Mahdi Khamoushi, Aliakbar Velayati, Ahmad Nesari, Reza Pour Hossein and Fardi Qasemloo attended this ceremony, public relations office of Islamic Development Organization reported.

At the beginning of this session, Hojatoleslam Seyyed Mahdi Khamoushi, the head of Islamic Development Organization in a speech put emphasis on the necessity of supporting the dissemination of Shia-based Islamic teachings by this organization, and said: when we realized that Dr. Velayati is busy writing such book, we asked him to give this book to Amir Kabir publishing institute to be published.

He introduced “Shialogy” book as a comprehensive work, adding this book tries to consider the Iranian and non-Iranian Muslim scientists who have worked on the history of Shia.

 “Shialogy” book is a very good work and we hope that this path will continue, added the head of Islamic Development Organization.
