Cultural Strategies Must be Adopted based on Soft Warfare

 

Pointing to the necessity of adopting cultural strategies based on the dimensions of the soft warfare, the director general of Boushehr Islamic development department stated: it is essential to adopt strategies towards culture based on the soft warfare.

Touching on the arrival of the holy month of Ramadan, Hojatoleslam Seyyed Nourollah Mousavinia noted: in the holy month of Ramadan, the issue of soft warfare launched by enemies should be clarified to people more than ever, public relations office of Boushehr province’s Islamic development department reported.

Regarding the cultural position and the enemies’ soft warfare, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic revolution has given precious comments and at the moment, the discourse dominating the society is the discourse of soft warfare, stated the director general of Boushehr Islamic development department.

Pointing to the main role of preachers, elites and cultural activists in explaining the dimensions of the enemies’ soft warfare, he added: our attitude towards cultural domain should be defined based on the soft warfare and the analysis of soft warfare should be considered; all have the duty to make efforts in order to develop the religious culture across the society, and not only preachers but every one has the duty to try to disseminate the religious culture.

Stating that one of the reasons of the enemies’ soft warfare is that the culture of Islamic Iran is against the culture of the West, Hojatoleslam Mousavinia continued: the Supreme Leader of the Islamic revolution has announced that a huge and all-out cultural war has been launched by the western world against the principle of the religion of Islam and the Islamic system, and this cultural war has roots in the opposition of Islam to the western culture.

Touching on the importance of the lunar months of Sha’ban and Ramadan, the director general of Boushehr Islamic development department added: all days have a special dignity before God, but some days such as Eids of Sha’ban and holy month of Ramadan have unique features and all of us should make efforts to commemorate such days.

At the end of his remarks, he explained the dimensions of the soft warfare, specifying with the aim of affecting choices, decisions and behavioral patterns, the soft warfare has been designed. In fact, it has been formed to deprive youths of cultural identities by developing hopelessness instead of social happiness and making the young generation indifferent to main issues of the country, therefore, launching a wise and vigilant campaign in line with the directives of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic revolution will be an effective way to oppose such war.
