On the occasion of the 21st of Tir, the national day of hijab and chastity, Hojatoleslam Abbas Nazari in an interview with the Shabestan interview stated: hijab and chastity are of the Muslims’ religious beliefs and are counted as the main factors in preserving the human munificence, public relations office of Qazvin province’s Islamic development department.
Observing hijab and chastity will preserve the human munificence and health, and the more human munificence is preserved, the more human identity and character will be strengthened, he noted.
Touching on the enemies’ cultural onslaught in the domain of hijab and chastity, this official specified: during the history of Islam, enemies have always aimed at the Muslims’ religious beliefs; removing Hijab at the time of Reza Shah and the feministic issues at the present time are the signs of the enemies’ plots.
In order to strengthen families, this religious issue should be institutionalized in family as a small member of the society and the munificence of families will be increased in such way, Hojatoleslam Nazari added.
Pointing to the necessity of creating the culture of hijab and chastity, he noted: it is the duty of all people to develop the culture of hijab and chastity across the society, and such a responsibility should not be assigned just to officials, although in this regard, officials should prepare the essential ground for developing the culture of hijab and chastity as a religious belief, so that the society will move towards this religious belief more than ever.
Touching on the importance of observing hijab and chastity by men and women, Hojatoleslam Nazari stated: the issue of hijab and chastity is not related just to women, therefore, both men and women should consider this issue, since if this issue is ignored by both of them, family will face problems.
