Promoting Religious Culture and Moral Security across Society, Blessing of Ramadan

 

Promoting the religious culture and the moral security across the society and purging society of harms are the main results and blessings of the holy month of Ramadan, stated the director general of Ardebil Islamic development department.

Congratulating all on the threshold of the holy month of Ramadan 1433, Hojatoleslam Mahdi Sotoude in an interview with public relations office announced that this month is a ground for strengthening the virtue of piety, being guided to goodness and the right path; he also put emphasis on magnificently fulfilling the rituals and prayers especial for the holy month of Ramadan, public relations office of Ardebil Islamic development department reported.

He counted purging the society of harms as the most important result and blessing of the holy month of Ramadan, specifying in every aspect, the holy month of Ramadan can be the best opportunity in all Muslims’ personal life. A pious Muslim purifies him/herself due to the blessing of the holy month of Ramadan and frees him/herself from carnal desires and sins.

The director general of Ardebil province’s Islamic development department put emphasis on utilizing the cultural capacities of the holy month of Ramadan, adding due to the blessing of the month of Ramadan and by being inspired by the teachings and blessings of this holy month, the Islamic society can avoid any kind of social disorder and impurity and remove hostilities among Muslims.

By being inspired by the religious teachings especially the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan, all historical problems and difficulties facing Islamic societies can be removed, and kindness, brotherhood, interaction and sincerity can be created among the Islamic societies, Hojatoleslam Sotoude added.

 In the holy month of Ramadan, the spirit of piety and not committing sins is revived in human and the ground for being guided towards virtues and the right path is prepared more than ever, he reminded.

Stating that the blessings of the holy month of Ramadan belong to all human beings, Hojatoleslam Sotoude specified: although maybe some people don’t fast in this month due to some special and rational reasons, they avoid many of sins and bad deeds.

The director general of Ardebil province’s Islamic development department announced that the main message of the holy month of Ramadan and the other holy days and religious and cultural occasions is to improve the Islamic society, provide justice and create brotherhood among Muslims; in fact, fasting in the holy month of Ramadan should not be regarded as a mere duty, but also what is important is that we should learn from the teachings of this month and make use of its blessings in improving our personal life and the Islamic society.

Touching on the enemies’ cultural onslaught, Hojatoleslam Sotoude said: we should prepare the ground for making youths and teenagers closer to the religious and Quranic teachings and utilize the blessings of this holy month to develop the general culture in various levels and aspects including visiting kindred, respecting elderly, aiding the poor and improving the public moralities.

In the end, the director general of Ardebil Islamic development department put emphasis on making use of the spiritual atmosphere of mosques and attracting the popular communion to improve the cultural programs of the holy month of Ramadan qualitatively and quantitatively, adding cultural organizations should prepare the ground for improving this culture by implementing various cultural activities.
