Iranian Computer Games to be Globalized Via Identifying Target Markets

 

The head of Islamic Development Organization knew essential producing the computer games in the country and supporting the producers and activists in this domain, adding production of standard, constructive and interesting computer games can help preserve the virtual borders of the country.

Foreign computer games doesn’t surely develop the Iranian culture and lifestyle, and in order to defend the cultural borders of the country and our Iranian, Islamic and revolutionary identity, we should do activities in the domain of cultural products in the cyberspace, Hojatoleslam Dr. Mahdi Khamoushi added, public relations office of Islamic Development Organization reported.

The member of the supreme Cultural Revolution council pointed to the activities of various Iranian corporations in the domain of computer games, reminding by supporting the producers of computer games and producing the precious and attractive games, we can be successful in defending the identity of our country more than ever.

Stating that Iranian games have reached such capacity to attend the international arena, Dr. Khamoushi continued: the technique of Iranian producers of computer games and the concepts conveyed through the domestic products have great cultural base and such games have their own fans.

In an interview with the News Headquarters of the communications department of National Foundation for Computer Games, the head of Islamic Development Organization stressed: such kind of games in the Islamic countries and the regions in which the Islamic awakening has happened will have a good market.

At the end of his remarks, Dr. Khamoushi specified: the institutions like Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade, and Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance should correctly define a target market for the Iranian cultural products, so that by presenting Iranian products to the world, the industry of producing computer games will develop in Iran.
